It is specially designed for teenagers aged 12-16.
Being a teenager is incredible and demanding. So many teenagers have the potential to become outstanding mentors and leaders, yet fail to reveal their greatness because they are confronted with negative beliefs or bad past experiences. These teenagers must take refuge within themselves to reveal their greatness. We need to support them, set them a good example and eliminate their negative beliefs.
We all react differently to stressful situations, whether it’s a physical reaction or an emotional outburst. We all can and should learn to control how we react by becoming aware of the things that cause stress and practicing mindfulness. Mindfulness is the act of being aware in the present moment by recognizing and accepting thoughts, feelings and sensations in the body.
There is so much pressure to be first at school, at home, online, after school activities and social life – sometimes it can be stressful to do it all! Stress is almost everywhere, and as it turns out, it can be a hindrance to overall well-being. A balanced lifestyle lays the foundation for optimal health and happiness, now and in the long term. Creating a lifestyle that is fulfilling, sustainable, realistic and supports all of our personal values is vital to everyone’s future.
No one can learn to live consciously with the first. This is done by giving someone the tools they need to incorporate mindfulness and stress reduction practices into their lives in meaningful ways.
