Angels are found in all of the world’s religions including Christianity, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and some forms of Buddhism. Michael is the only angel who is mentioned by name in all three of the major sacred texts of the world’s religions that place the most emphasis on angels: the Bible (Christianity), the Torah (Judaism) and the Qur’an (Islam). In all of those faiths, believers consider Michael a leading angel who fights evil with the power of good.

These are powerful celestial beings which are nearest to God, in the presence of God and therefore wield great power and spiritual authority.
Archangel Michael is considered to be the most powerful of the archangels and is usually depicted with a sword emblazoned by a blue flame or carrying the scales of divine justice. The blue flame and sword are symbolic of courage, strength, and protection.
The name Michael means “He who is like God” and he is called the Archistrategos , or chief commander of all the bodiless powers. He is in charge of security, bravery, power, and dignity. He fights for truth, integrity and protects the will of God. Physically, mentally, and psychologically Archangel Michael protects us. He assists in cutting cords between ourselves and those who do not serve us. His influence continues to touch many people’s loves and he guides them toward the light of God. Without losing our honesty he helps us to discover our true nature and to be loyal to who we really are.
PRAYER
Archangel Michael, I ask for your assistance to cut all cords and disconnect... From those that no longer resonate with me… Help me to trust my intuition and my feelings… Guide me to be honest with myself if the behavior of another causes hurt or distress… With your powerful sword cut off old karmic cords that keep me in suffering, illness, and poverty... Release me from the bond of my past actions... I have paid my dues... Help me to be forever free from all karmic debt now… Please cut any cords of fear from my solar plexus to anyone whom I have given my power away to… Archangel Michael please give me the courage to take complete responsibility for every aspect of my life… Archangel Michael, please surround me in your light of protection throughout my day… Be at my side and guide my words and actions to come from a place of love… Please clear my energy and vibrations completely of negative thoughts and beliefs... Help me to fully and completely experience love, light and joy, that is present in every moment and guide my path for my highest and greatest good... I thank you for all the blessings and opportunities you are creating for me and for providing me with light that is allowing me to follow my true path in life… Amen.
