Group Meditation Classes
To discipline the nous (mind in greek) is a gentle practice that does not require physical deprivation and hardship. The “Winding Down Wednesdays” meditation classes will help you achieve inner peace and calm, and to reap the benefits of a guided group meditation in the grounding and embracing Sacred Space Studio in Glyfada, Athens.
The more we practise meditation, the more familiar our mind becomes with inner peace, ethics, and connectiveness.
Being mindful and aware is a moment-by-moment process of actively observing one’s physical, mental and emotional experiences. We learn to live in the present moment, a process we can achieve through regular meditation sessions.
We all know we can’t avoid difficult people or difficult situations. These are inescapable, unavoidable, even more so nowadays.
However, we can avoid the normal stress, anxiety and fear, as well as feelings of overwhelm or discouragement, that can all too often be generated in us.
Establishing a regular meditation practice, helping to connect with like-minded meditators and be part of a compassionate community was my aspiration for creating these “Winding Down Wednesdays” classes.
These sessions are for all to join, regardless of the experience level one may have – as no experience is required.
When we meditate, our vibration naturally rises. When we meditate in a group setting, we can align with someone else’s raised vibrations.
This is why it is so reassuring for first-time meditators to be in a group setting.
When they are not able to silence their own thoughts enough to allow their own vibration to rise, they can take advantage of being in the vibrational zone of the raised vibrations of more advanced meditators.
When one meditates alone, there is a feeling of expanded awareness, deep relaxation, peace of mind, and contentment.
But when many people meditate together, those experiences are intensified, and the effects expand into the environment.
And in the Sacred Space Studio we experience the benefits both individually and collectively.
It is important to have an individual, daily practice.
However occasional or even regular group sits may complement the private practice and help us dig deeper into ourselves than we can individually.
The greatest gift of all about leading these guided meditations is that my guests, including myself, have wonderful spiritual experiences of expanded consciousness, inner peace, deep relaxation, healing, greater awareness, and increased intuition.
And I am greatly rewarded when I get reports from students that they are experiencing the deepest meditation they have ever had.
During these drop-in meditation classes at the Sacred Space Studio in Glyfada, Athens, with myself leading the Guided Meditations, we shall explore how to look at life and the difficulties we meet with a brand new viewpoint and mindset…

The mediations may then be accessed from my Podcast “The Powers That Be Via KC”. The podcast is offered free as a gift for all those who wish to experience meditation wherever they so desire.
The guided meditations are followed either by a sound therapy with gongs and tibetan singing bowls or a shamanic journey with drums, rattles and wind chimes.
These classes are also experienced outdoors when and if the weather permits it.
