Teenagers Meditation Workshop
The Enlightened Minds Workshops help all children adjust, change and re-examine
their mindset, motivation, confidence, stress management and concentration skills.
It is specially designed for teenagers between the ages 12-16.
Being a teenager is both incredible and demanding. So many teenagers have the potential to become distinguished mentors and leaders, yet fail to uncover their greatness because they are faced with negative beliefs or past bad experiences. These teens need to go inwards to uncover their greatness. We need to support them, have them lead by example and eliminate their negative beliefs.
We all react differently to stressful situations whether it’s a physical response or an emotional outburst. We can all learn to control how we react by gaining awareness about the things that cause stress and applying mindfulness. Mindfulness is the act of bringing awareness to the present moment by acknowledging and accepting thoughts, feelings and sensations in the body.
There is so much pressure to do and be best in school, at home, online, in after-school activities and your social life; it sometimes can be stressful to do it all! Stress is just about everywhere, and, as it turns out, can be a barrier to overall well-being. A balanced lifestyle sets the stage for optimal health and happiness, now and for the long term. Creating a lifestyle that is satisfying, maintainable, realistic, and supportive of all of one’s personal values is crucial for one’s future.
No one ever just learns to be mindful all at once in one single go. It is done by giving someone the tools they need to incorporate stress reduction and mindfulness practices into their lives in meaningful ways.
We start with the end in mind. The end is to have your teen achieve their goals, have emotional intelligence, get along with their parents, accelerate their success, advance their problem-solving techniques, and become phenomenal leaders!
