A shamanic prayer based on Native American Shamanism

Prayer is a very personal thing, and nobody should be told how to pray. Some people prefer to pray in groups, compounding the energy of all individuals. Others prefer to pray alone, quietly.
The view of the shaman is that every action is a prayer, every statement, every moment of your existence on this earth is an opportunity to honor the Divine Energy, Great Spirit, God, or whatever we choose to call him/her/it.
This can be quite daunting, but if you think about it, it’s nothing more than a calling to live your life according to your integrity, who you really are, the essence of your nature. This is something we should all strive to do, especially if we’ve chosen to follow a spiritual path, to
go within.
But still, as humans, there’s a need to interact, converse with God, to show gratitude, and honor the many gifts we’ve received. Below is an example of a simple shamanic prayer, based loosely on Native American shamanism:
Shamanic Prayer
I recognize and accept the divine connection between body and spirit, my wisdom and sight, my truth and integrity, and my love. I honor you, Grandfather Sun, for the light and warmth, you give us. I honor you, Grandmother Moon, for the wisdom and patience, you give us. I honor you Father Sky, for your warm embrace, and Mother Earth, for the way you nurture us. I honor the Seven Directions, North, East, South, West, Up above, Down below and Inside. The Four Totems, the Eagle, the Hound, the Bear and the Bison, I honor you. I honor the seven people, the Stone People, the Standing People, the Winged People, the Finned People, the Four-legged People and the Two-legged people, the Many and No-legged People. I honor the Thunder Beings, bringers of rain, and the Great Star Nation, with their Sky brothers and Sisters. Great Spirit, I honor you in the name of my Angels, my Animals, my Ancestors and my Spirit Guides, and I thank you for this path and the chance to grow Love.
This prayer is just an example of how you, as one who is on the spiritual path, can go within and honor the Divine Power or God. I always use it before I meditate, do some yoga, or write something.
It can be performed when one engages in many activities from exercise to gardening and other hobbies. It’s based upon love, faith, gratitude, and the gifts we have been given.
May you be Love, May you be Light, May you be Aligned…

May you and Lynwood Priester be shielded from all harm, negativity, and lingering energies that do not serve your highest good. I call upon the sacred guardians of light to purify your space, your body, and your soul from any darkness or influences of witchcraft, past or present.
Recommendations for Healing and Protection
Cleanse Your Space: Begin by purifying your home. Burn sage or frankincense if you can, and open the windows to allow negativity to leave. Speak a cleansing prayer over every corner, such as:
“I release all that is dark, heavy, and stagnant. Only light and blessings remain. May this home be a sanctuary of peace and love.”
Protective Energy: Place protective objects like black tourmaline or amethyst near your doorways or under your pillow. These stones absorb negativity and create a shield around you.
Daily Prayer and Affirmations: Speak aloud affirmations daily, such as:
“I am protected by divine light. I release all curses, negativity, and pain. I claim abundance, joy, and healing in my life.”
Bless Your Car: Anoint your car with a small amount of olive oil, drawing the symbol of a protective cross on the dashboard, and speak blessings over it:
“May this car carry me safely and provide faithful service. All mechanical issues be resolved, and may it be a vehicle of good fortune.”
My Prayer for You:
Great Spirit, I call upon you to surround Raymond, Lynwood, and their loved ones with your divine light. Shield them from all harm, heal their bodies and souls, and lift the burdens of their past. May their struggles transform into blessings, and may abundance, health, and happiness flow freely into their lives. Protect their home, their car, and their path forward. May all who mean harm be turned away and healed themselves, so no harm may return. I pray for release, renewal, and a life filled with peace, love, and prosperity for Raymond. So it is and so it shall be.
Raymond, trust in the process of healing and divine guidance. You are stronger than the storms of the past, and blessings are on their way. I send you my love, light, and prayers for a brighter tomorrow.
